With Christmas fast approaching Heatcraft decided to take part in a festive charity fund raiser in Salford Quays. This fund raiser however, was a fund raiser with a twist. The participants were required to do the 3K race dressed in Santa suites.

On Sunday 7th December 2008 Heatcraft joined the sea of red and white surrounding the Manchester Ship Canal and completed the race.
